Passengers Sue After Boeing Plane Catches Fire
Passengers involved in a fire that started aboard their flight while lifting off from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) on October 28 have filed a lawsuit against American Airlines, General Electric Aviation, and Boeing, according to the Wisner law firm representing them. A statement released by the firm alleges that the airline was negligent during the evacuation process and that the aircraft engine was made of defective material. The statement did not specify what damages were being sought by the law firm’s clients.
