Octogenarian Detained by Airport Security After Scuffle

On Friday, Lila Mae Bryan, an 82-year-old Texas woman, was arrested by airport security at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport (ICT) after a physical altercation with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel. Bryan, whose husband claims had forgotten to take medication for bipolar disorder, had walked around the X-Ray screener and attacked a TSA agent before being detained for two hours. Bryan has since apologized for the incident and has not yet been charged with a crime.
