Musician Claims Airport Officials ‘Defaced’ Guitar

Singer Bryan Adams is claiming his collection of instruments, which includes a vintage guitar, was “defaced” by officials at Cairo International Airport (CAI). Adams said customs inexplicably “refused to release the equipment” at first. Then, when he did get his instruments back, they were covered in green marker. However, Jamal Turki, CAI’s director of customs, is denying the allegations. “It may have been his room number or the car number taking him to airport,” Turki said.
