More US Airports to Adopt Facial Recognition

Thanks to a new project called Biometric Exit, facial recognition could be coming to international airports in the U.S. as soon as this summer. The project would ideally use recognition technology to identify visa holders as they exit the country. Fast-tracked by the Trump administration, the system points out an individual who has entered the country illegally if no match for them is found in the database. Biometric Exit is being tested on a flight from Atlanta to Tokyo at the moment.
