JetBlue Flight Diverted After Lithium Battery Fire

On Tuesday evening, JetBlue Flight 915 was forced to divert after the lithium battery in a flyer’s laptop caught fire. Flight 915 made an emergency landing at Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) just after 8 p.m. local time.

Passengers reportedly remained calm while the situation was resolved, and though firefighters responded immediately once the flight landed, the fire had been put out by the time the plane doors opened.
