Hurricane Harvey Closes Houston Airports; Airlines Offer Conciliatory Miles

Due to massive flooding throughout the Houston area, both William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) have closed along with roadways.

Airlines such as Emirates and Air China have added updates to their travel waivers, with several offering air miles in exchange for donations to relief funds in helping with the crisis.

On August 29th (when this news story is posted), closure of Houston airports is an old news: they've been closed since at least 27th (and many flights, if not all were canceled on the 26th).
