Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Wing Piece Disappears
After a piece of its left wing went missing, a Thomas Cook flight en route to Cuba was forced to turn back to Manchester Airport (MAN) for an emergency landing. The aircraft – which was flying over Ireland which was flying over Ireland at the time of the directional change – was also low on oil. No injuries were reported, and the flight landed safely at MAN.
