Delta Passenger Allegedly Refuses to Sit Next to Mykki Blanco

During a recent Delta Air Lines flight from Toronto to Detroit, rap and performance artist Mykki Blanco claims that another passenger aboard the flight called the police on him due to discomfort with sitting next to “someone like [him].”

“I was told I would ‘go to jail’ if I continued to ask questions about why this police office was giving preferential treatment to this man,” Blanco said, adding that the alleged confrontation was “the most bizarre form of homophobia I have ever encountered.”

Delta reached out to Blanco on social media and apologized for the alleged incident and requested a follow-back on Twitter so that they could resolve the issue with him via direct message.
