CNN Commentator Tweets Video of TSA Pat-Down
CNN Political Commentator and NPR Political Analyst Angela Rye took to Twitter after she reportedly became the subject of “humiliation” Thursday when she was searched by the TSA at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW). Rye’s tweet includes a recording of the pat-down, in which she appears visibly upset throughout.
I asked the police officer to film this so I can send to @TSA. I'm hoping my humiliation will fix the system. #TSAVaginaMonologues pic.twitter.com/lypkkcpZCW

I agree with 2 prior comments regarding profiling like the Israelis. Super effective, flawless. Madeline Albright visited Israel to view their airport security. When she returned to the US she held a press conference stating, "America will NEVER profile".. BS PC idiots. Also agree the entitled reporter needs to get over it. Good grief.
Dumb reporter is being dramatic. I hate it when people sit there and explain that they "fly all the time, and this has never happened before." So what?!?! If it happens only sometimes then I guess the system is working the way it is supposed to. She always has the other option available........Greyhound.
I saw the video and wondered what the issue is? She was examined by a female, apparently by the book. No story here other than an entitled celebrity whining.
She wrote an OpEd piece about the incident which gives a more complete timeline of what happened. http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/16/opinions/tsa-invasive-pat-down-rye/ The TSA agent had gloves on and it does not appear that her hands ever stopped moving. Since the machine alerted to 3 areas on her lower abdomen the TSA agent had to check that area. I saw a back of hand swipe across the front and then she ran her hands up each leg quickly. I do take issue with Rye's language and calling it a V-word pat down---used for shock value and not, in my opinion, an accurate description of the pat down.
Funny how the CNN folks can't get enough government and then they moan when they get the government they have been demanding Yawn. Deal with it like the rest of us.
