Britt Ekland, David Bowie Booted From Flight
Swedish actress Britt Ekland (The Man with the Golden Gun) was recently booted from a KLM flight with her dog in tow after it was revealed that their seats were double booked.
Ekland, 74, was asked to leave with her dog (whose name is David Bowie) when another passenger came to sit down and an airline agent couldn’t find a record of Ekland’s booking, even though she’d received a confirmation email.

That's what happens when you use AOL as your new sources (and copy it thoughtlessly). Even Daily Mail got this story more correctly: only the dog's seat was double-booked (or it didn't get registered in the system as booked?): another passenger came to be in that seat. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-4579038/Britt-Ekland-s-fury-dog-booted-flight.html Ekland's seat was not double-booked.
This is FlyerTalk, not CNN - don't write incoherent rubbish like "when another passenger came to sit down and an airline agent couldn’t find a record of Ekland’s booking". If there's not record of her ticket (not booking), the airline won't issue a boarding pass, she won't be on the plane, there will be no "other passenger" and it is certainly not a double booking.
