AA Emergency Landing at LAX

After it reportedly experienced a “mechanical problem” Thursday morning, an American Airlines flight en route to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) made an emergency landing at LAX. The Airbus A319, which was traveling with 130 people, made a safe landing, however, once the flight finished taxiing to the terminal, eight flyers onboard complained they were undergoing respiratory irritation, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
