Kitzbuhel is known for two things, a great ski place and home to many rich people. It is commonly known that the Kaiser himself, Franz Beckenbauer - resides in this beautiful town.

During winter period, booking a room here is expensive. During the summer, prices are considerably cheaper.

For this retreat, it was very pleasant and tranquil. It has a rustic and nostalgic feel. The rooms were very nice and clean. All facilities were good, tub, hot water, etc. Not too much cable on, but people usually don't stay in their rooms.

In the evenings, you could wander to the city centre and have a small tour of this village. It is very much Bavarian and many of the restaurants serve such cuisine.

They have good facilities including a nice small park and swimming pool. If hiking is on your agenda, there are so many mountains to choose from.

I found it a nice place to meditate and seek inner peace. Austria is indeed beautiful.

Come here and leave your work at home to celebrate peace and comfort. During less peak period about less than EUR300 a night.
