The jewel in the Park Hyatt Crown

After an incredible stay last Summer, we decided to end our European vacation at the PH VIE.

I had initially booked a standard room, but decided I couldn't downgrade from our last experience so booked the Diplomatic Suite.

Prearrival I emailed the Concierge several times to arrange transport and the VIP Terminal on departure. Karim, as always, responded swiftly and professionally confirming each request.
 

We checked in and immediately felt at home. Check in was swift and we were offered an escort to the room. I declined as we had the exact Diplomatic Suite as last time so knew our way around.

I won't review the room again as my last review exists, other than to say that I noticed more fresh flowers on this stay.

I had specifically asked for the air con to be set at a very low temparture for our arrival and this was honoured as we entered the room.

Service is where this gorgeous historic and modern designed hotel shines.

Every interaction is handled with the highest professionalism. This is a true luxury hotel where they will always find a solution to anything you ask.

Monique Dekker has a strong reputation amongst Globalists as the best GM in the World which is why many of us adore this property. Monique has moved onto Hyatt EU HQ and Barbara Goettling's leadership also shines through the entire time. While we didn't get to meet Barbara on this stay, Caroline looked after us very well.

On our last stay we ordered the Weiner Schnitzel each night and did the same on this stay.

I reserved a table at the bar on both nights. I have been following the Bank Brasserie and Bar on social and learnt that the Mixologists are World leading winning international compeitions.

When we arrived athe Bar we were presented with a series of menus, including a Bank Newspaper, which featured the bartenders and their specific cocktails. I don't know of any hotel that takes its drinks this seriously.

We prefer Cocktails over wine and on our second night the head Barman Martin asked what our preferences were and took us on a Cocktail Flight over the course of the evening while we ate dinner. In my thousands of nights in hotels across the World, this evening will remain my most memorable bar experience. The Park Hyatt motto is Luxury is personal and the personalised Cocktails and attentive service we experienced that night will never be matched.

Overall, this remains my favourite PH in the World. A strong female leadership team is something I admire and respect in an industry filled with men.

Everything about this stay was exceptional and when we arrived at the PH BKK immediately afterwards we were welcomed by former PH VIE staff. There were some highly personalised moments in BKK that were clearly a result of both hotels communicating.
