I booked this hotel on points, me and my fiance took an celebratory engagment trip through Europe and this was our first stop. Prior to checking in I informed the hotel about the special circumstances of the trip, and they informed me they would upgrade the room.  The room itself was not much of an upgrade, but they did throw in a bottle of champagne.

I must say that since I was staying on points, I felt the room was nice, however had I been paying the exorbitant fees they charge, I would have been somewhat underwhelmed.

Check In

Check in was painless.  They were very nice at the front of the hotel.

Room

The room was supposedly an upgraded room, but was still quite small.  It was the smallest room of our european vacation.

Service

Service was great. They did trun down twice a day.  Gave us chocolate and this "sleep mist" which was interesting to say the least.  The porters were great, and they doorman was very good at gettign taxi's and cars.

Dining

N/A

Did not eat at the hotel at all, however they did have this interesting carryout breakfast option.  For 5 Pounds you could carry out coffee and croissants/pastries or fresh fruit.

Location

Easily one of the best parts of this hotel.  It wwas within walking distance of so much.  It was also literally right next door to the underground so you could take the tube to anywhere you wanted.

Overall

Solid hotel for the location.  It was a good spot, however the lack of a lounge might be discouraging for some.  Also rooms are small, so if traveling with a large family I might take a pass on this.  But for us it was  great.
