This is one of my favorite hotels, I've stayed here 6 times now and look foward to going back every time. Please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions, happy to answer anything if you have additional questions beyond what is in this review.

I know there are other Marriott properties on Hong Kong Island, but this is by far my favorite.

I take the airport express in from the airport, and there is a free shuttle bus that takes you right to the hotel (it is the second stop).

Room

Like I mentioned, I've stayed at this hotel 6 times, and I've requested (and gotten) the same room the lat 5 stays... a Studio Suite (I did book this room the last couple of times), been upgraded to this room twice. It features a king bed, a nice desk, huge TV, and a couch. The bathroom is very large, and features both a tub and a shower.

I've also stayed in one of the smaller rooms, and it was a little tight, but not too bad - as long as you're not spending too much time hanging out in the room! :)

Dining

Hong Kong in general is a great food town, so there are no shortage of options for eating. I always grab breakfast at the lounge - although depending on your status you can get the buffet at Cafe Renaissance instead, and that buffet is pretty amazing. I always grab dinner one night during my trip at Dynasty, the in house Chinese restaurant that opened a couple of years ao. The XO Beef is totally amazing. The pic below is of one of the appetizers, the Fried Tarot Root.

Breakfast in the lounge is great, as mentioned. Here are some pictures

Check In

Check in is great, and even begins before you arrive - they send you a welcome email (could be because of my status), asking if you need anything, have special requests, etc. I think this is a nice touch and wish they did this at all properties.

With the email, you can also ask questions, which is nice. I let them know what time I'm arriving (which flight as well) and ask for things, like extra towels and stuff.

Service

The service at this hotel, for me, is one of the best in the world. They always take great care of me. The last two times I've stayed, they put a treat basket in my room along with a bowl of fruit.

I typically leave my do not disturn on and they always call to check to see if I need anything, and are always prompt if I need something.

It was raining really bad one time I was there and they even gave me an umbrella, which was really nice.

Location

One of things I love about staying here is the location - you can literally get to the Wan Chai MTR station via covered walkways, so you don't get wet even if it's raining! It's also super close to a bus station and the star ferry!

I also love the view!

It is also connected directly to the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center, so it's a great place to stay if you're attending a conference there.
