Check In
Check in was very easy - Premier Inn has a number of self-service check-in machines in reception, which are very easy to use: you just put in your surname and it prints out your room number and issues you a room card. It took 3 minutes in total.
Room
It's a relatively new hotel in a modern recently constructed building. The room was a good size with a separate bathroom with shower above the bath. There is soap and combined showergel/shampoo bolted to the wall but no other amenities are offered.
The room comes with a king sized bed, which was comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available and there's a desk and LCD flat screen TV. The soundproofing is excellent - I didn't hear anything from the corridor or outside while I was there.
Service
The hotel staff are really pleasant - warm, welcoming and friendly.
Dining
Breakfast is a standard Premier Inn offering - essentially a cooked breakfast with sausages, bacon, hash browns, baked beans, black pudding and mushrooms. There's toast, croissants and muffins and also American style pancakes. For those who don't want a fry up there's yoghurt and fruit. Fruit juice and tea and coffee are also available.
Location
Location is perfect for tourists. The hotel's about a 15 minute walk from central Belfast and a few minutes away from the Titanic museum. It's a short drive from Belfast City Airport (which should cost you about €6 - €7 by taxi).
Overall
Overall I was very pleased with my stay here. It's a basic hotel but the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is filling, staff welcoming and the location was perfect for me. I would definitely be happy to stay here again.
