This stay far exceeded my expectations.

Overall

This was an amazing stay in the stunning flagship property. It exceeded all my expectations and I only wish it was longer.

Looking forward to returning.

Check In

Check in was swift and the bellboy was utterly delightful. He showed us to both rooms and explained the features of each room.

Room

We booked two rooms and applied a DSU to one. Upon arrival we had the Junior Suite upgraded to a West Side Suite on the 17th floor. The room was stunning and we had Prosecco and Chocolate dipped strawberries waiting for us.

Upon entering the Park Deluxe facing 57th St all I could wear was traffic are sirens due to UNGA convoys. I called front desk and asked if they had a higher floor because I'm a light sleeper. The manager sent up the same bellboy with new keys. He took me up to the 21st floor where I was upgraded to a second West Side Suite!

While most rooms have limited views, the views from our suites were as good as the pool and gym.

Dining

Despite breakfast being relocated and buffet only it was high quality.

Curiously, when ordering room service they don't ask guests to sign any folios.

Others have commented on how quiet the bar is, however, during this stay it was completley packed.

Location

While the location is great the UNGA makes the city a mess and it took us 2.5 hours to get to JFK.

Service

Service at the hotel was strong, but the shining star is the gorgeous pool with spa and steam. Nothing helps you feel fresh after hours of flying like a swim in the pool.
