Check In

Booked deluxe twin, pre-upgraded to executive twin, visible via the website/app on the day before arrival.

Used OLCI via the app after I saw the upgrade and this was quick and easier. The hotel was almost fully booked for the night of the stay so there was not a lot of choice.

Unfortuantely the hotel room map does not show which rooms are interconnecting as some hotel's maps do - this meant I ended up with an interconnecting room and the usual noise problems that this comes with.

On arrival at the hotel there was a huge check-in queue with a short queue for Hilton Honors members, however with only one or two desks serving the Honors queue it would actually have been quicker to use the regular queue. Around 15 minutes to reach the front desk and pick up the keys.

 

Room

Room was clean and perfectlly fine.

Interconnecting room but a lot of noise from the next room but no other rooms were available due to the business of the hotel. Complained to customer care afterwards and received a gesture.

Shower was OK - not really enough pressure and the drain was obviously a little blocked.

 

Location

Was going to an event at the Genting Arena so location for this was perfect and a very quick walk

Executive Lounge

Great service in the executive lounge with friendly and helpful staff.

Good selection of food and drinks including cheese and biscuits and cava.

Dining

Breakfast was pleasant with a full hot and cold buffet

Overall

Check-in and room problems, along with a few general maintenance issues (including some non-functioning lifts) mean that I didn't have a great stay.
