Short Review

We stayed at the Four Seasons in Wailea this past October. I'm a Ritz Carlton Kapalua fan but I must say, I loved it at the Four Seasons!! We're planning another vacation there this year-- my husband loved it so much.

What are you looking for on your Maui trip?
Luxurious surroundings, impeccable customer service, excellent selection of food...Then the Four Seasons is right for you.

I thought I loved the beach at Kapalua, but when I walked onto the beach at the Four Seasons, well, I was in heaven! Very fine sand, very flat beach so you can go out on the water far without feeling worried, great weather. Plus, they set ip lounge chairs and table and umbrella for you right on the beach. We only went to the pool twice. The beach was great.

We did have one hiccup on the trip. We had booked an oceanview suite, but our room unfortunately looked out onto the garbage cans/parking lot of the Grand Wailea, so we were very unhappy with the noise of the trash being loaded into the bins all afternoon. We were upsold another room, which was much better. Be careful of what you book.

We also booked through a preferred partner travel agent and received free breakfast buffet every morning. Really good food, and they had some Asian offerings (not as much as the Asian breakfast at the Hapuna Prince on the big island) like rice and miso soup.

All in all, LOVED the Four Seasons and plan to go back hopefully again this year!! Sorry Ritz Carlton :-(
