Short Review

We just stayed at the FS Bosphorus over the Winter holidays, and had a phenomenal stay. The hard product (both inside and out) is superb, the location and views are second to none, and the F&B is top notch.

Even better was the service. The entire place exudes warmth, and everything seems to be done in a proactive manner. Case in point: I stepped on a pile of doo-doo on our walk back to the hotel, and when I explained the situation to the doorman, he immediately rushed in and got me a pair of slippers, took my shoes, and had it meticulously cleaned (and sent to my room) within 30 minutes.... all at no charge, and all done with a smile.

I think the level of service has as much to do with adequate staffing as it is the development and training of staff. This was between X-Mas and New Year, when the property was booked full, yet nothing seemed rushed, and we never had to wait long for anything.

P.S. - We were pleasantly surprised at the culture of hospitality in Istanbul in general (and not just the FS Bosphorus.)
