Hi, Just returned from a wonderful 4 day stay at the Four Seasons Florence. We stayed in the Gallery Suite - which is by far the best suites in the hotel. Wall is silk and painted. Ceiling is hand painted and when you look up, it looks 3D.
What I liked about the hotel:
-
Beautiful restored building and wonderful large ground/park - which feels like an oasis outside of Florence than actually in the city
-
Love the unique Toletries by local Florece perfumer Lorenzo Villoresi. The product is apparently olive oil based. Large big bottles - 250ml, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and body wash
-
The only few hotels that have an outdoor swimming pool. We used it quite a bit since the weather was very hot.
-
Service was top notch We plan to return!
Enjoy the pictures

This hotel continues to awe us! This was our 4th stay at the hotel in the last 2 years... and we were in the same Gallery suite (as pictured above) as our previous stays (there are apparently 3 throughout the hotel - and this is the best one)... I just love this suite... The entire wall is covered with silk fabric paintings.... the ceiling fresco is just divine to wake up to...and the big bottles of private toiletries are highly unique! Nothing new to add to the room since our last stay. A few things we discovered since our last stay that awed us (pictures will be posted):
1) There is now a rather large kid's park inside the ground
2) There are now sculptures placed throughout the ground
3) There's now an outdoor "recreation center" - with a ping pong table and a foosball table..
4) There is a grass volleyball net placed next to the kids park
5) The courtyard (with the statue) has been turned into a sitting area.
6) There are now more chairs in the "al fresco" and lawn
7) The pool dinning area has been enhanced I can see why this hotel is my favorite in terms of hard product and facility! It is truely an oasis in the city. I can't imagine the amount of money paid to keep the grounds in top shape!
