General

I have stayed here several times and like the hotel for the convenience it offers, you get decent food, good service and parking on site, which so close to the tourist spots in Florence isnt common

The hotel is like every AC in Europe, the rooms are the same, and so are the amenities, rather contemporary, with just about the right amount of storage for a stay of several days

That said, it is the obvious choice if you are a Marriotts member and dont want to checkin into the St Regis and Westin, which are literally a 5m walk away

Check In

Easy, but it can sometimes take a bit longer because the hotel does host a lot of events and groups, because I stayed here several times it never took me more than 2m 

Room

Contemporary, with as I mentioned plenty of storage for a few days, they are well maintained as far as I have seen, so there isnt much else to say

Dining

The food is actually pretty good, the menu does offer the usual cesars and burger, but also local dishes

The drinks are actually made by one of Italys best, so I very much recommend them, the wines on offer a good, but you will not see anything special

Location

Convenient for both business and leisure travelers, as you are a 5m walk away from hotels such as the St Regis and Westin, and it takes you maybe 10m more to see the famous tourist spots of Florence, but due to this the hotel does offer parking which can be convenient and isnt usually available at most hotels in Florence

Overall

It remains my go to hotel in Florence, due to the rates, food and location

Service

The service is good, they will book your restaurants, and give you plenty of things to do for the area, as the hotel is visited most by American tourists and Italian business travelers they take care of the most common requests from these kind of customers
