I am a Marriott Diamond Member - booked room for two nights - no upgrade (even though selling upgrades online) - checked in around 10pm - next day complained to manager that they still were selling upgrades and finally given upgrade for final night.

A couple days later when I saw the charge appear on my credit card - it was for a different amount - they added $46.43 to my bill - for lobby food or room service (something I didn't order). I called the hotel and explained that this was an incorrect charge - front desk person said they would look into it and call me back. I also left a message for the manager. Neither front desk or manager returned calls. Next day - called back - finally got through to manager - he said he would look into charge and call back. He did - saw that charge was not mine and removed it, Double check your credit card bill against the hotel bill - make sure this does not happen to you!

Oh and manager didn't even offer (even though I asked) for some points for inconvenience. - oh well, guess they are stingy with points too.

Oh well- Lesson learned - Don't stay here and if you do - Watch your credit card bill!
