Booked pre-paid sale rate 134 Euro.  Booked standard room with airport view, this is 10 euro more, but worth it rather than facing into the atrium

Online check in showed upgrade to Executive Room.  11th floor - this is top floor.

Check in fast and staff very friendly going over all details and Diamond benefits.  Note you do have to pay a city centre tax, 7,44 euro for 2 of us, this was done on check out, it is a bit annoying this was not explained at check in.

Room

We had room 1129 and Unlce room 1125.  Both Executive rooms, 11th floor - top with airport view.  These faced out to M-Gates and the Citizen M Hotel and the landing runways. For take off runways and more of the airport you need to be the other side of these rooms.

Atrium facing rooms would be a bit grim, just a viw of other peoples rooms, unless you liek that kind of thing!

Rooms are new, with great Nespresso machine, welcome letter and nuts.  USB chargers on desk as well and normal EU plug.  Large bathroom with shower.  Over all great room, windows are great.  Air-con was issue was very cold despite turning it up.  TV has good range of channels with BBC1/2 and world and BBC4.

Water pressure in bathroom good, with good temperature.  Sound proofing good as well with little noise.

It is great sitting by the window watching the world go by!

Service

All staff friendly and seemed very proud of the hotel.

Dining

Restaurant

We had evening dinner there.  Light meal.  Menu was good, bit confusing but good.  Food excellent and service while slow was also very good, and compared to Hilton Amsterdam excellent value.

As Diamonds, we had free breakfast.  Chef station, great choice fresh juices, all the usual hot and cold items.  A great range and everything fresh, tasty and hot, even the plates...Wizla would approve!

Very nice executive lounge on level 10.  In afternoon there was selection of snacks, pastries etc.  They have beer/wine/soft drinks all day

We went in evening just after 8, spirits had been added.  Only cheese out though which seemed odd.

Breakfast had a good spread

Location

A 10 minute walk from the Train station, just past the Sheraton.  Easy to get to airprot and even city centre via trains running all the time.

Overall

A great new hote.  if you like planes, even better!

Top rate gym and spa, only small, but good equipment, and hot sauna and steam.  There was no one in gym when I went, and the spa only had 2 people.  There is small whirpool, but not that hot.  Nice chairs for relaxing.

Do note, they are very busy weekdays, business, best rates will be at weekend.  Bar had live DJ as well, this was a Saturday night.

I will return.
