I stayed at W Hotel 3 times in the month of August. The first time when I stayed I was very happy with my stay. 

The second time when i stayed, after checking in to my room I complained 3 times about mosquitoes, but nothing was done about it. And then in the night there was loud banging noises from the next room and I called up and complained and the person on the night desk said that she is sorry she cannot do anything about the mosquitoes or the noises and to speak to the manager in the morning. I did not expect this from your group of hotels. This kind of service and attitude is just not acceptable.

When I was checking out the next day I spoke to the manager on duty and explained what had happened and she apologized and said that she will make sure that our next stay is comfortable and also, she said she will speak to the person who was on duty.

The third time when I stayed, the lock to our room was not working. We complained, and maintenance team came to check, and they said they cannot repair it at that time. Also, the bathrobe kept in my bathroom was torn and ragged. This kind of service is just not what I was expecting from W hotels.

When I was checking out the next day I showed the bathrobe and the room not locking to the manager and he agreed that this is bad. And he said he will speak to manager and see to it that we are compensated either by reversing our 1-night room charges or by giving us any other compensation for the bad treatment that we have received from your hotel.

It has been so many months now and I have not heard back.

When I wrote an email complaining - they replied saying: -

In regards to your second and third stay that month, I can see that we did issue some compensation already. For your second stay, Sarah, one of our overnight team members, took care of issuing 2,000 SPG (now 6,000 loyalty) points and set up a complimentary upgrade for your third stay. My reply - (till today I have neither received the 2000 spg points nor did i receive a complimentary upgrade on my third stay)

 

On your third stay, our Engineers made note that attempted to fix your lock and look at the bathroom, but they were denied access into the room. I do apologize that the lock stayed broken on your door, but they were unable to fix it from the outside. My reply: - (On my third stay, after repeated calls and complaints your Engineer came at 11 in the night and attempted to fix the lock. He said he cannot fix it at that time coz some part is broken which he will have to call for and that can only be done in the morning.

 

I think you need to stop putting false accusations and look into your staff more seriously)

 

After my above reply to them I have not heard back at all from them!

 

I will never go back to W Seattle again and I strongly advise against any of you to book this hotel!
