Supremely annoyed by this. Wonder if it's attributable to Alaska IT or some sort of interop between Alaska and partners. I'm inclined to think it's Alaska, because it's happening with multiple partner airlines, but I think I've heard about some, albeit quite a bit more infrequent occurrences of this on AA.
