A recent meal I had on board British Airways was actually delicious. It was a simple platter of sliced ham and pate together with a light tasty salad. The olive bread that I chose was also quite good. However, I do have some friendly advice for BA on food waste: don't serve butter unless requested as I notice like myself, many of the passengers did not use it and cut down the size of the bread by half. If someone is hungry, they can have seconds. Meanwhile, keep up the good meals!
