Crew were apologizing as they said this was the first day of a new service in Premium Econ ((LHR-MSP). Instead of the same pre-landing snack as econ there was a choice of a charcuterie plate (3 cheeses, 2 meats, pickled onion, gerkin, caper). Drinks service was constant (and served in glasses) throughout the flight and the snack basket came round at least 4 times. Definite improvement!
