I knew I wasn’t going to make gold this year, so hadn’t put much effort into retaining it, and as part of my acceptance of landing on silver, I have burned a lot of avios on reward flights (hence my currently very low numbers). My year ended on the 8th October and I am currently seeing that I need 1500 to retain gold, do I dare to dream BA have been kind to me and given me another year of gold here, as we have heard multiple reports of? Or will it all turn silver at the end of November?
