With a 10 hour layover in Istanbul, we had three options. We could take Turkish Airlines up on its offer of a free hotel in the city (given to any Business Class passenger with a layover of 7+ hours and any Economy Class passenger with a layover of 10+ hours), we could just hang out in the huge Turkish Airlines lounge or we could get a room at the TAV transit hotel. I kind of wanted to take the free room from Turkish but I’ve seen Istanbul a few times (love it!) and with an arrival time of close
