The TripRewards name is changing to Wyndham Rewards
Beginning in May, TripRewards® will be called Wyndham RewardsSM. It will be the same great program you love, but with a new name and even more ways to relax and reward yourself. Rest assured:
You’ll enjoy expanded travel choices from the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands — you can now earn points at more than 6,000 hotels and resorts around the globe.

*TripRewards points expire four years from the date they are credited to a member’s account unless his/her account is used earlier. After 18 consecutive months without any earning or redemption transactions, the member’s account will be closed and points forfeited.
- You’ll keep the points you’ve already earned*
- Your member number will stay the same
- You’ll continue to earn points or miles the same way
- You’ll still have hundreds of rewards options to choose from

TripRewards is now officially Wyndham Rewards, as of May 1st.
Whatever it saved them, I can guarantee it cost them more because I now actively avoid them out of anger. I was a Super 8 VIP cardholder for many years and they dumped me because of an 18 month gap with no notice.
I do not understand why companies are so stupid as to take a program designed to create loyalty and, for a short term savings, insult those customers.

I second the vote for re-naming the forum.

I third the vote. I use TR when staying at the Wyndham XNA which is the only Wyndham I ever stay at.
