The only issue is that the terms state it can take 7-10 days from checkout or purchase to get the tier credits applied to your account. This is fine if you make multiple trips to Vegas per year, but could be an issue if you have a short stay.

Tier credits earned from gambling are applied to your account immediately--if slots or very quickly if playing a table game, so you may be able to visit the Caesars Rewards desk and/or a casino manager, after showing them that you have earned 100 tier credits, to get them to manually add it if needed. Good Luck.
In previous years people who needed to earn the 100TC for the dinner stated the dinner didn't post for days after the 100 TC were earned

One POSSIBLE explanation is it's only effecting people who just started matching and not those like my wife and I who have been matched for about 5 straight years.

Either way people should be award the dinner may not be on the card until a few days after they earn 100 TC.

Interesting. They gave me the dinner in late March with 0 tier credits. We'll see if they start denying people soon.

Hello,

I have an upcoming stay at a Wyndham hotel. I have Diamond status with Choice and Gold with Hilton, which both match to Diamond with Wyndham. If I do a status match and stay only 4 days, will I be able to keep Platinum or is it just 10 for Diamond if that's where you're matched and nothing else?

Thanks.

I'm in Vegas right now, matched Caesars Diamond to Wynn Platinum then to Fountainebleau Gold.

Wynn Platinum:
  • need to stay twice in past two years for free Holland America cruise
  • Birthday FREECREDIT is based on your past gaming history so if you don't game I assume this is near 0
  • Spa credit does not require a stay. Not sure if it needs to be on birthday month, forgot to ask
  • Birthday dinner credit needs to be in birthday month, doesn't require a stay
  • Apparently signing up for masterclass is tricky because limited spots
Fontainebleau Gold:
  • Do NOT do the new signup bonus $15 slot and $15 food because then you cannot tier match
  • Dining gift can be used anytime but has to be used *all at once*, does not require stay. Taxes are not charged when using this
  • Spa gift can be used anytime but has to be used *all at once*, does not require stay. Spa is hotel guests only Friday-Sunday

So at Fontainbleau just say you want to match from Wynn and then they issue you a players card and you get the $150 dining credit ?

We are also going one more step and taking FB or Wynn to MGM for the 90 day Gold status match as we are staying at Vdara and the MGM gold match should get us waived resort fees for 6 nights.

yup for Fontainebleau, and spa credit too

I didn't bother with MGM because in a year of MGM gold I never ended up staying in a MGM property... Caesars has a better footprint for me and I am pretty happy with them

Can I transfer Wyndham points to receive Caesars TC? Still confused by TC and RC

Wyndham points transfer to CET as reward credits.

100 Reward credits =$1 at most CET owned restaurants and bars , some places charge 200/$1.............pay at the table in RC and there is no tax

Tier credits can only be earned gambling and spending $$ at the casino on your players card.

Theoretically the earning rates for Tier Credits and Resort Credits are pretty similar. (In case it wasn't clear in the post above, you can get Tier Credits from hotel/dining/shopping spend, and also earn Rewards Credits too). In practice they may differ because
  • Caesars has a lot of Tier Credit bonus multipliers for reaching a specific # of tier credits in a day, in addition to promotions
  • You can get Reward Credits for spend on the Caesars Visa card and other partners
  • You can trade Resort Credits for Wyndham points and vice versa
It shouldn't be that hard to hit Diamond organically by getting 5k Tier Credits (+ 10k tier credit bonus) on a promo day
