Resort fees for Diamond members booking a Caesar hotel using Wyndham points
This is a difficult conundrum. Paying for rooms at various Caesars high end properties are very expensive on weekends. Yet I can reserve a room using my Wyndham points some with a 15,000 point rate. Although the Wyndham reservation mentions responsibility for resort fees, would the hotel waive them upon presenting my Caesars Diamond Card?

To answer your question, resort fees are waived if you are diamond when you checkout and book using Wyndham points.

Have you done this before?
This would be for a future reservation. I prefer Reno and stay at the Silver Legacy which is the best of the three Reno Caesar hotels. Point redemption for the Silver Legacy is 15,000 points per night. Ironically its 30,000 for the Eldorado (although their rates are usually the same as the Silver Legacy) and 15,000 for the Circus Circus. I am staying this upcoming weekend for 4 nights. Used my free Marriott night for Saturday and then paying for the remaining three nights at the Silver Legacy. In the future I will used points for Friday and Saturday at the Silver Legacy and pay for the remaining weekday nights.

Here are my rates for this upcoming weekend, I would be better off transferring about 17K or so Wyndham points to CET and paying in Caesars reward credits vs paying 15K a night
