However I didn't realize the promo ended as early as it did (early Sept), and I tried to do the CET --> WR transfer in Oct, and I think I tried to transfer 70k pts. When nothing had happened in about a month, I went back and took a closer look and realized the promo ended 1 month before I attempted my transfer. So that day I attempted a new transfer of 28k pts (cuz cap was now 30k). That didn't ever go through either, so around 12/20/22 I tried once more transfer of 30k. Never went through (at least as of yet). The worst part is that there is NO CONFIRMATION that you ever attempted a transfer. Would certainly be nice if you received an e-mail the day you attempt a transfer that says "You are transferring X pts from your CET acct to your WR acct, it could take up to 6 weeks for the transfer to complete", or something similar. But no, just complete nothing EVER from CET. So you have no idea where (or if) something went wrong with your transfer.
I am EXACTLY in the same boat as you. Tried 3 times in 2022 to transfer from caesars to Wyndham. NOTHING happens..No email, no transfer
Contacted customer serveice, all I got is an acknowledgement that they will respond in 5 business days (Its already 40 business days after that). Yes, I checked spam/junk folder

Not sure what else I can do.

Now, Caesars is showing my 50K points will expire on mid Feb. My sole intention on trasnfer to caesars was to keep WR from expiring.. Dont want to apply a Casars credit card. Obviously, I am not that involved with either programs so if anyone can help with a less cumbersome way to keep at least my caesars from expiring it would be great.

Groupon is a partner with Caesars Marketplace. I have purchased a $1 ebook and $1 parking voucher, earned a CR point and extended my expiry date. Unfortunately, it can take up to 2 or 3 months for the point to credit so won't help with Feb expiration.

Try transferring again right now. They just upped the transfer amount from 30k a year to 60k a year, so you may be able to transfer all of your 50k points back to Wyndham rewards before they expire if you start the process right now. There's of course no guarantee that it'll work, but since it's a new year and a new limit, I would think it's worth trying.

Go to Say and play.com and sign up for surveys, I took a 10 minute survey on Friday and it extended my CET expiration 6 months.

I have it set up so I get a reminder to do a survey for my wife and I every other week

Also transferring 10K points from Wyndham TO Caesars will extend the expiration date at CET, seems Wyndham point transfers to CET go a lot smoother, I have done a bunch and never had an issue.

I would do both but IME ( I have done dozens of surveys and many point transfers ) surveys post and extend the points @ CET the next day where as even best case scenario point transfers can take over a week.

Thank you for this. I signed up for survey (with maximum less real informaition) and was not eligible to take the survey but they compensated with 5 points which did extend the expiration to another 6 months. Mission accomplished for now.

Trasfer request to Wyndham still has not gone anywhere. Even their twitter is useless sh*t as it only says "we've passed your message to concerned department and will update you if we get any updates". Its happening for 3 weeks now and later they stopped responding.

I'm more inclined to buy a $200 HomeDepot gift card using my 50K points (yes, terrible value) and be done with this crap. Its not worth your time and effort to deal with this.

FWIW, I e-mailed an e-mail address listed by another FTer above ([email protected]) and received a phone call back from them the next morning. The lady claimed my CET acct was not linked to my WR acct (ummm, how was I able to transfer from WR to CET then previously). But she linked the accounts and put my 60k transfer through and the 60k pts posted to my WR acct about 5 days later. Wonder if the next time I try the same CET ---> WR transfer if it will go through properly or not, but at least I know who to contact now if it fails.

Even transfers that work take a long time. I think they only do the transfers once a month or something like that. So be patient, and just wait and see if it goes through eventually. It may happen a month or two from now, you never now, and since your expiration has been extended 6 months, why not wait and see before you do something with terrible value with your points.

And see the post by gregorygrady above. Seem he found the right way to contact them and get results.

But again, I would suggest first waiting at least at month or more, because that's how long it can take to transfer even when it works perfectly. It was about a month after I transferred 30k last year that my Caesar's Rewards points balance went down.by 30k. Until then, there was no sign that it was going to work. And then it took a while after that before it actually showed up at Wyndham Rewards.

Not really, the comp is Wyndham points earned via CC SUB transferred to CET
