Personally I'm glad that instead of just eliminating the match/dinner altogether CET is weeding out the people who just want to take, take, take.

Earn 100 TC gambling or spending cash at the casino..................or don't.............your choice

Yep, but it would also be nice if Wyndham gave priority to room upgrades over Caesar matched diamonds as well.

I wonder how many people who earn CET Diamond even care about the Wyndham match.

I'm sure some do but I honestly have never read a post where people were using earned CET Diamond status to get Wyndham Diamond.

Carrying the Wyndham Business card gives anyone legit Wyndham Diamond and if people stay at Wyndham often the card is a no brainer as the AF is more than offset by the 15K points, 8X gas not to mention the SUB.
Lootefisk and gudugan like this.

I do. The main Wyndham I use is in West Hollywood Ramada (which is very nice for a Ramada) and I get a bi-level suite upgrade a lot when I stay there.

Ocean prime status match to mgm or other casino?

I only have ocean prime that expires June 30th 2024, my mgm gold expired January 2024. I matched mgm gold to hard rock icon before February 2024 but now icon is also expired. Any way I can leverage my ocean prime status to keep the merry go around going? Going to Vegas next week

MGM status challenge only says Ocean Reserve
https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/mgm-re...ml#/new-jersey

Wynn and Fontainebleau don't mention Ocean
https://milestalk.com/las-vegas-stat...-2024-edition/

Might be out of luck

If you are in Vegas before May 31 and have at least Pearl status at MGM you can match MGM Pearl to Fontainebleau Silver and get $100 food credit, and I think $100 spa credit.

If you are going with a spouse remember MGM gives your spouse the same status so do the match for two and get double the food comps.

Then match FB silver to Wynn Platinum, then match Wynn Platinum to the 90 day MGM Gold status challenge.

If you have CET Diamond match that to Wynn Platinum FIRST then head to FB for Gold status and $150 Food credit.

We are staying at Vdara Memorial day week and have CET Diamond so the match waives about $300 in resort fees at VDARA and gives us $300 in Food/drink at Fontaine plus $100 spa credit each and we will be back in Sept for the $150 bday dinners at Wynn.

I have also heard people who gamble a bit at Fontainbleau are getting 3 night free offers @ FB on Sun -Thurs but no guarantee on that.

Is it possible to earn wyndham stays credit (not points) on Caesars stays booked via the Caesars website? Would it make a difference if they were comps or reduced rate stays?

I'm wondering if you can attach your wyndham account number on a Caesars offer and get closer to being a diamond through stays at the same time

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't think so. Kind of a long the lines that if you are Caesar's Diamond and book a Caesar's property through the Wyndham site, you will still pay resort fees. I have never tried it, but I believe that is the protocol.

You have to book CET rooms via Wyndham to get Wyndham points.

It's the same deal now at MGM, if you want to earn MARRIOTT ( fixed MGM typo) points you need to book your MGM stay via the Marriott Website.

I apologize in advance if this is off-topic.

Someone suggested I get the Wyndham Business Card..... and then match to Caesars Diamond. I have done that... the Caesars Diamond came through yesterday.

Is there a thread that talks about the steps of matching to maximize benefits and freebies? Especially interested in cruises.

I have a day trip to Atlantic City scheduled for July 1st when we are in NYC... and then we will be in Las Vegas starting July 3rd.

Appreciate any advice or direction!

No specific thread outside of here, but this is what I suggest.

Go to Caesars to get your card. Confirm if your celebration dinner is loaded when you do it (it sometimes takes a week so you should be fine by July 1). There is a list on the website of where you can use it. I know trop has a sign at the desk, not sure about Caesars.

Quickest and nicest way to get around is walking (this trip will be 2 miles total, all along the boardwalk). Next stop at Hard Rock and match your status. Nothing else to do there, just get the card and go.

Next, walk down to Ocean. There you will match your Hard Rock status. You will get a free tshirt, pass for your car, and 48 hour access to their lounge. In the lounge you can get free food and drinks.

It takes 30 days until you can book the cruise or Vegas Hotel. So you wont be able to stay free at Conrad Las Vegas, but you can get benefits at the Caesars and Hard Rock there.
