Wyndham to Total Rewards status Match

Hi! So I just had the Ceasar's Entertainment "Total Rewards" match my Wyndham Diamond status. Does anyone know if this benefit serves us in any way other than the Atlantis 4 night comp package? Is there any chance at a comp suite to Caesars Palace? I am assuming that the diamond level status for total rewards status matches is not the same as a "high roller" in a casino would get. Anybody have any insight into this?

Best

Kevin

Chances at a caesars property of an upgrade with this match are extremely slim. Caesars will still go by ADT which is basically your gambling value to me them.

however, I was excited for this since I am diamond at Caesars. I’m platinum SPG/Marriott and love that I now have another choice for hotels.

Chances of a suite upgrade are pretty much zero. However there are a number of other benefits of Total Rewards Diamond. First is waived resort fees. Second is free parking in Vegas. Third is Diamond members get 2 free show tickets each month in Vegas. Not the headliners, but there's still some solid performances on the free show list. Third is a $100 dining voucher each year. Other benefits are more soft benefits. You get to skip the line at some restaurants, you get to use the diamond check in (which can save an hour of standing in line at peak times), you can use the valet even when it's "full." You also get access to the diamond lounges, though you still have to pay (in rewards credits) to get in.

I'd suggest taking a look at the thread in the Flyertalk Gaming forum about Total Rewards Diamond. A lot of people pay a few hundred dollars a year just for the status. In my opinion, this can be one of the more valuable status matches out there if you visit Total Rewards properties.

I have the same question as above.
Also, how long does it take for Wyndham and TR to status match? Is it instantaneous? Few days? Week? etc.

Promised time window is 7 days after you submit the match request online. Usually it's done within 3 days

On to Mlife to Hyatt?

I used my Wyndham Platinum to get Total Rewards Status. Can I use this to gain MLife status, then match to Hyatt?
Second question, can this be done without a visit to a casino?

You might want to check out the flyertalk Gaming forum, but as far as I'm aware Mlife doesn't match Total Rewards (though Total Rewards does match Mlife for the time being.) Borgata used to match Total Rewards before it became an Mlife property, but I would guess it no longer does. In any case you did have to show up to Borgata in person.

I just matched my Marriott gold to Wyndham Diamond with the goal of matching to Caesar's TR diamond. The Wyndham status is good until mid-January. So, if I match to TR shortly after January 1st, does anyone know when it will expire? I assume that if I match now, it will expire on Dec. 31st of this year, but does anyone out there know for sure?

I saw on another forum (although I don't know if it is right) that Caesar's TR status will expire on Jan. 31st, regardless of whether you match now or after Jan. 1st.

Are you sure that's not referring to matching from other Casinos?

No, he was specifically referring to Wyndham-> Caesar's matches. But it's just one blog comment, no other confirmation.

Perhaps you could email or contact Total Rewards? Also interested in this.
