Wyndham Downgrade

Wyndham has quietly downgraded the mileage earned from stays at several of their chains from 500 miles per stay to 1 or 2 miles per dollar spent per stay (depending upon status.) I'm very disappointed as I stay at Hawthorne a lot.

Can you please refer to the thread about why Hawthorn is not talked about?

Can you explain further? This is what I still see on their website: "We love to give. For every qualified stay, earn 10 points per dollar or 1,000 points, whichever is more." https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/wyndha.../member-levels

Swagda is referring to the mileage earned for stays.
In your profile you can choose to either earn points or miles with certain partners like united.

I think that just brings it in like with most of the other properties; at least last time I used it AGR always earned either 1 or 2 points/dollar on my Super 8 stays (I don't remember which.)

It's probably a better value if you're doing a long extended stay - once you're above $250 or $500 on a stay (which seems likely at an extended stay property) it'll earn more points than the current system.
