AmericInn Joining Wyndham Rewards

We are pleased to announce that AmericInn has recently joined the Wyndham Hotel Group family of brands. With 20 iconic brands and over 8,000 hotels worldwide, Wyndham Hotel Group is a hospitality powerhouse united by Wyndham Rewards, the world's simplest and most generous loyalty program.

As a result of AmericInn hotels joining Wyndham Hotel Group, the AmericInn Easy Rewards program will be discontinued effective March 4, 2018, and your Easy Rewards account will automatically transition to a Wyndham Rewards account.

Until Easy Rewards is discontinued on March 4, 2018, you can continue to earn points at AmericInn hotels as you do today. On and after March 4, 2018, you will no longer earn Easy Rewards points for stays at AmericInn hotels. Additionally, if you wish to redeem any Easy Rewards points in your account, you must do so on or before March 15, 2018.

WHAT IS WYNDHAM REWARDS?
Wyndham Rewards offers a generous points earning structure along with a flat, free night redemption rate-the first of its kind for a major rewards program. With more than 25,000 redemption options across hotels, condo-style resorts and homes, and over 53 million members worldwide, the program is built around the following pillars:
  • go free℠: 15,000 points gets you a FREE night (per room, per night) at participating Wyndham Rewards hotels, homes and condos.
  • go fast℠: Get a discounted night for a combination of points plus some cash at participating Wyndham Rewards hotels, homes and condos.
  • go get 'em℠: For every qualified stay, earn 10 points for every dollar spent or a minimum of 1,000 points per stay, whichever is more.
  • Member Levels: Stay more nights. Unlock new levels. Receive exclusive member-only perks when you stay at Wyndham Hotel Group hotels.

The transition of your Easy Rewards account to Wyndham Rewards will begin in December 2017. Here are a few key transition dates:
  • On or about December 18, 2017: We will enroll you into the Wyndham Rewards program - no action on your part is required. Upon enrollment, you will receive an e-mail containing your Wyndham Rewards member number as well as a Wyndham Rewards Member Level that corresponds to your 2017 hotel stay activity with AmericInn. If you do not wish to join Wyndham Rewards on December 18, 2017, please opt out of enrollment by clicking here by December 4, 2017.
  • Late March 2018: AmericInn hotels will begin participating in Wyndham Rewards. Stay tuned for exciting updates! In the meantime, you can earn Wyndham Rewards points for qualified stays at many of the properties that participate in Wyndham Rewards as soon as you become a Wyndham Rewards Member. Please visit wyndhamrewards.com for more information about the Wyndham Rewards program.
  • Following March 15, 2018: Your remaining Easy Rewards points will be converted, at a ratio to be determined at a later date, into Wyndham Rewards points and added into your new Wyndham Rewards account, and your Easy Rewards account will then be closed.
If you do not wish to be automatically enrolled in Wyndham Rewards on December 18, 2017, please opt out of enrollment by clicking here. Wyndham Rewards values your privacy. To learn more about how Wyndham Rewards treats your information, please click here.

ALREADY A WYNDHAM REWARDS MEMBER?
That's great news! There is no action required on your part. We'll review your 2017 stay activity with AmericInn hotels to determine if there is any adjustment to your current Member Level. We will also convert all of your remaining Easy Rewards points into Wyndham Rewards points and add them to your existing account, in accordance with the timeline above. We will share information regarding the conversion ratio shortly.

We are excited to welcome you to Wyndham Rewards, named a best hotel rewards program for the past three years by U.S. News and World Report. If you have any questions, please feel free to review our Frequently Asked Questions by clicking here or visiting americinn.com.

Sincerely,

Eliot Hamlisch

That's good news. I have some (practically) worthless Americinn points which I can hopefully use when they get converted over to the Wyndham program.

Wyndham paid $170M for the brand of nearly 200 hotels. Let's see how long it takes Wyndham to run it into the ground like they generally do.

AmericInn has now moved into the Wyndham booking system and appears in the search results along with other Wyndham brands when searching on Wyndham's website.

I honestly don't remember if I have any AmericInn points, but I'll probably be staying at them a bit more now. They have a lot of properties here in the Upper Midwest, so it's a nice add to their portfolio from my view.
