Are you logged in when doing the search? When I do it I only get cash rates or points-only rates if I tick the box. But no cash & points rates.
ETA: It does work when logged in but not otherwise. Interesting development...

Seems to vary depending on how you get in to the Wyndham website and which of the sites you're searching against (there are multiple which look very similar). I wonder if that's just a function of getting the new code fully rolled out or something else. Either way, I do now see it in many cases while not logged in as well even though I was not seeing it at all previously.

So far I've identified the following cash co-pay options for cash & points:
For non-USD bookings the numbers are approximate based on conversion to local currency.
I've also seen a few examples where suites or other premium rooms can be booked at normal award rates.
- $25
- $30
- $35
- $45
- $55
- $75
- $95

Cash and points do offer better values per Pointe in many cases. However, I have far too many points that are expiring in next few years that I won't be able to use it much...

Seems to be the case. This is the Viva Wyndham in Freeport, Bahamas.
Available mid-May for 15k points, 3k+$25 or $120, depending on which rate you choose.

I've been thinking of applying for the card, but this comment from April 1 in response to a rumor of the best offer ever has held me back. I'm wondering if there is a better offer coming. Maybe the comment from that afternoon was the follow up?

Obviously they could still release a better offer in the future, but I think this is it for now.
I currently have the credit card with the annual fee. One feature of the annual fee card was the 5500 point yearly bonus to help offset the annual fee. This 5500 point bonus was enough for a free "room" (albeit a bottom of the barrel room at a fringe property), aligning it with other hotel programs with similar setups.
I wonder, now that 5500 points is worth only approximately 1/3 of a free night under the new program, if there will be any plans to up the yearly points bonus to 15K. If not, I will most certainly cancel my card at the next anniversary. A continued 5500 point yearly bonus is not in the spirit of the original credit card agreement I accepted.

This post contains links to my website, I've included all of the relevant information as per FT rules.
