Haha! Apparently I've grown up since I originally posted this question, and really don't care as much as I did what people think of what I'm wearing. I've even started wearing bikinis in my old age! https://www.swimsuitsforall.com/cover-ups-swimsuits has some cover ups that might fit your bill.

I'm also ridiculously picky, I like a cover up that has sleeves (short to 3/4) & covers until my knees (and I'm 5'10).

Any recommendations? What's your favorite cover up you purchased recently?
If you don't mind Lularoe, look at some of their jacket-type stuff.

If the point is one garment that does it all, the Vera Wang black rayon pajama/lounge pants they sell at Kohls feel so good to sleep in and they look like plain black soft pants so they are passable for breakfast and getting to the pool at a city hotel.

My current favorite is a caftan from Lands End. It's from a couple years ago so I don't think they're selling the exact version, but they always have a few options - some that look very much like coverups, some that look more like dresses.....

I like longer caftans because I'm a sprawler when I lounge and I like to avoid flashing bits.....

Thanks for the swimsuitsforall suggestion! I need the cover for beach days (need to hide from sun) and there are some great options there.

I love Boden because their tunics and kaftans come in petite, regular, or long. Boden US | Women's, Men's, Boys', Girls' & Baby Clothing and Accessories

Cabana Life makes SPF fabric cover ups that are very cute-and help with sun protection. I've bought a couple (on sale!) and been happy with them for lunch at a resort as well as getting to and fro the pool/beach. The Boden tunics are great too.

This one is my go-to favorite caftan (purchased several years ago but you get the idea)

Caftan Coverup

Works great and can do double duty with a pair of shorts for days when your out exploring and might need a swimsuit but you will be doing just about anything (and need to be clothed)
