If you go to the Wings threads listing (page before this one) and select "Show all topics", you will see many threads about this proposed alliance involving CO and NW and KLM and ?others.

A lot of snide comments though as it really has never come to pass.

The 'Wings' concept meant more in the US because of the NW/CO link.

It was never really live in Europe (I see that Sylvest941 hails from France) where CO is not a KL partner.

Sorry, BlondeBomber.

Didn't mean to exclude Canada - I should have said North America!

Indeed, there are many who feel that the time is fast approaching when "WINGS" will appear in another forum category - "Discontinued Program" http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

The AZ deal turned fiasco with NW was a real killer, IMHO! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
