Saturday's Globe and Mail had an ad with YVR-YEG $89, YVR-YYC $89, YXX-YYC $69, YXX-YVR $69 (it said twice daily).

I was thinking this was either a repositioning flight or a typo. I can't find it online. Can anyone confirm which is true?

I would have to go with typo. Abbotsford to vancouver seems like the type of route air canada would offer. Not westjet !!!!! (me being sarcastic as I really dont like air canada)

Yes, that is a typo. I assume that it should have been YXX-YEG not YVR. YXX-YEG is currently on sale for $69, so that would make sense.

I know a lot of people hate the Port Mann Bridge, so a YXX-YVR route could be profitable.

That and if AC ran it I bet the planes would be chock-full of mileage runners
