What do UG flights post as?
 

Just wondering what UG'd ($) flights post as (in particular, Flying Blue). Have a short flight that I bid the minimum $15 on (DH8) and got. Just wondering if it posts at the original fare basis or as PE.

On DL Skymiles, they post as zero. Not even the points that you would have received if you had not paid for the upgrade.
I did a missing points request the first time it happened, and never received the points. Seems to be as intended. Upgrade class appears to not be a mileage-earning bucket.

Update: Doesn't even show up on Flying Blue. At least it's not nothing at all. Sent in a claim and see what happens. The ticket receipt reflecting the UG does show the fare class as L.

I fly WS a lot even though I am a Delta skymiles holder. If you submit the original invoice showing the acceptable fare class in it, you will get credit. Sometimes same day, sometimes in a week. After a few "experiences" I find it easiest to submit my request in then call next day so they can cite my case. It moves faster than tossing it in the void, and that is how I learned that you can get credit even if you bid for UG or if you buy a check in offer.

The class does change to a non points earning fare, but you did pay for a "lower" fare and can still get that credit. Again, this is as far as Skymiles goes, but I would not be surprised if Flying Blue would allow you to do the same.

Update: Posted, after CS request, in originally-paid CoS. Got the FB miles (all 100) and the 2 XP which will more than put me into FB Silver next month.
