Will prices drop for a mid april trip
Currently about to buy tickets for YVR-PVR for April 13th-23 for a quick trip.
The pricing currently is not too bad but wondering if they are likely to drop in the next week or so.
I usually plan my trips out much further in advance,

Unlikely to drop. As more seats book, prices will likely go up so I would just book. I actually booked my April flight the other day but I am travelling over the long weekend.

What I often do is go to flights.google.com and do searches for flights from there and set ALERT to watch the price of a trip. This often gives you information about when the price goes up or down. I usually find about 60-90 days out often (but not always) yields the best prices) Often you can see prices rise steadily about 21 days out.
