Looks like they're starting to take their hammer to more than one month at time now. They've begun removing routes as far out as April.

Removed completely/or until end of April;
YYC-PDX
YYZ-MIA
YYC/YYZ-BZE
YYZ-CCC
YYZ-HOG
YYZ-RTB
YYZ-AZS
YYZ-SNU
YYZ-BDA

The following has been removed through end of February:
YYC-JFK
YYC-IAH
YYC-DEN
YYZ-BOS
YYZ-BNA
YYZ-SJU

Removed in January:
YYC-ATL
YYC-AZA
YYC-SAN
YYZ-TPA
YVR-SNA

Following sun destinations were removed in January:
LTO, VRA, NAS, CZM, SXM, SJO, MID, GCM, POS, PLS, ANU, UVF, CUR

Sun destinations still scheduled in January, but not currently operating:
AUA, ZIH

Also YYC-LTO was randomly increased to 2x weekly in February/March.

I didn’t even know WS had been flying to (or had previously announced) RTB as a scheduled destination!

RTB launched in December 2019 and only operated once a week. Looked like it was planned similar to BZE, slowly increasing YYZ and adding a YYC if successful enough.

Additional schedule changes. Looks like YEG-CUN/PVR/YHZ and YWG-CUN/PVR have been cancelled for December. They still have YEG-PHX scheduled at least once weekly from the 19th.

Hearing rumblings that the 787 will be doing some Mexico flying in January. Should know more in the coming days.

Looks like YYC-ZIH/LIR, YVR-KOA and YYZ-AUA are planned to resume in January.

789 scheduled on YYC-CUN on Friday/Saturday.

YEG-CUN/PVR made the schedule but YWG did not.

New route coming in February! WestJet adding weekly flights to Bonaire in the Caribbean from YYZ starting Feb.6 on Saturdays.

WestJet welcomes beautiful Bonaire to winter network - Dec 18, 2020

Flights currently are not available for booking, but I’m assuming will be loaded over the weekend.

Golly! How can they be adding new destinations since many of the existing ones aren’t even back on the schedule yet?!?!?

Allows them to sell even more tickets for flights they're never going to complete!

Same reason their 320 seater 787s will be flying to Mexico starting in January, that's where the demand is right now. WS just like every other airline, unfortunately cannot predict the future, and given how quickly things have changed it makes it difficult to put out a schedule beyond 30 days.

Also they've already purged a ton of destinations until the end of April, so if a destination or route is still on the schedule now it means they want to operate it, but if not enough people actually book the flights it's not really feasible for them to fly it.

Anyways, YYZ-BON was loaded last night and shows until April 10. They also extended the YYC-CUN/PVR 789 flights until April 10 too.

A good example of things quickly changing, Canada just restricted passenger flights from the UK effective midnight tonight. This means WS will have to cancel/rebook on flights to LGW and it is outside of its control.

Edit: for just 72 hours, so for now looks like it will only affect one departure.

WS has cancelled all LGW flights until January 5. WS3 will still fly tonight, however the inbound on Thursday is cancelled.

I see YYC-FCO is still on the schedule for next summer... I wonder what the chances are of that route operating. COVID permitting, that's one I'd like to try.
