7M8 front cabin re-config

Apparently starting this fall the 7M8s will begin having proper J (previously announced). It's October. When in fall? Anyone have any details?

The 3 remaining MAX aircraft to be delivered this year will come with the 2x2 seating.

Is there a timeline as to when the existing MAX a/c will be reconfigured?

First aircraft has been delivered as of the end of October. C-GEHF.

Presumably itíll hang around YYC for a couple of days to do some promotional shooting/training before entering into revenue service.

The second aircraft is also in production testing so should be delivered in the next week or 2.

How many 737 to convert? This is on a pace with Bombardier's streetcars for the TTC.

115 or so, as there are a few that won't be done and end up as lease returns. I think Ed SIms said in an interview conversion should be done by the end of 2019.

I donít know if the livery from a paint perspective will be redone unless the aircraft is due for painting, as it normally costs about $200,000 to paint a 737. Ovens are part of the Business Class offering is my understanding. There will also a more obvious separation between Business Class and Economy cabins.

Cool. As a passenger I care about the seat and the ovens. Certain WS can find something better to do with $200,000 than paint an aircraft that does not need to painted.

I don't see the TV screens in those pics unless it's just not in the promo pics.
I love the big screens on AC's 7M8's as good or better than the pod screens.

I don't think WS plans on introducing IFEs.
