Perhaps after the late summer rush is over and there’s a bit more time to take an aircraft out of service for however long it will take to retrofit it.

2 new MAXs due this fall is will have the 2x2 plus/biz class seats installed right from the factory.

Which route would get the MAX? Can you tell from the Westjet website?

YHZ to CDG and YHZ to LGW definitely use the MAX aircraft. There will also be Hawaii flights using the MAX this winter.

Aside from the routes listed above that need the extra range, I expect that it will be very difficult to predict which routes will get the MAX. During the transition it will be a toss-up whether plus seats are blocked middle or bigger chair.

Do we know is WS is going to expedite getting these install or take there time. Ovens are also another necessity that any self-respecting airline will have on all its aircraft with proper business class seats. Hopefully they are doing both at the same time.
