737MAX seat map?

Is there a seat map for it anywhere?

The “Seat maps” page on the WestJet web-site doesn’t show it. Only maps for the three existing 737s (736, 73W, 73H) are shown — along with the Q400 and the 767 on separate tabs)

And the “Our Fleet” page in the About Us section of their website doesn’t even mention the MAX at all.

I wonder if the MAX 8's are being booked as 738's for now in case of an equipment swap.

If you do a dummy booking on say Halifax to London Gatwick on Aug 15th it will take you to the seat selection page so you can see it. I tried to paste it on here but it doesn't work for me.

@aerobod: I'm looking at YVR-OGG for next January. Can I rely on the current 738 seat map or is there a possible change to a MAX (or something else)?

Thanks.

Hi @Sopwith, here are the two seat maps side by side (7M8 on the left, current 738 on the right). Other than row 29 (no recline on 738) and 30 (no recline on 7M8), all other rows are similarly configured, although there are slight pitch differences and the space saver washroom allows the 30th row to be added, but Plus and extra legroom seats are in the same positions:

Very helpful, thanks. It looks like the seat pitch is the same in rows 1-14, yes?

Overall, yes, but the MAXs have more even pitch in rows 4-12, a couple of inches better than behind the wing exit rows.

Do seat selections for rows between Plus and OWE cost more than those behind the OWE?

No, only the OWE rows are more expensive.

Does Row 4 have more legroom than row 5? Is there a bulkhead between 3 & 4 that goes all the way to the floor?

No bulkhead between Rows 3 and 4. As business class seats are installed there will be a sky divider and hopefully a curtain.

Seat guru has the correct map. The 7M8 should have one more row of seat then the 738.
