Given the number of AC frequent flier bag tags I now see on my Westjet flights (including E75s and SEs) you may want to think hard about that.

It's all about value for money received. I'm happy to pay for Plus because I see it representing good value. It's even greater value when compared against Westjet's competitors.

I don't see a lot of value in the old Plus product (blocked seat with not much else), but the new product - 2x2 seating with proper J catering (which they don't have yet but are trying) - yes, I agree.

The extra leg room and elbow room in Plus (even the old version) allows me work on my laptop throughout the flight. Over two, three or four hours that can represent a fair chunk of income, making the additional cost for Plus a total no-brainer.

Totally agree, the new 2x2 seating is even better. But for me at least, even the blocked mid-seat Plus product is still more than worth the minimal extra cost.

Is Westjet excited for Dreamliners in general?

YYZ to LAX on a 600 will be a miserable flight though. Why would they do that to passengers?

The 600s are next after 7M8 for 2x2 seating and ovens (7M8 came with but 600s and 700s don't have them).

That's a relief...All of my YYZ-YVRs recently seem to have been 600s.....brutal!

Four more 789s are due to be delivered in 2020. Does anyone know WestJet's options schedule? I know they had 10 more options, beginning in 2020.

The latest publicly available fleet plan has 3 787-9 delivered in 2020 and 4 in 2021 with the 10 options available between 2021 and 2026, here is the info from the 2018 annual report:

Thankfully that's not how it works in real life.
