Seat selection question
 

Hi All,

Booked on YYC-MBJ next March. I booked on Expedia to take advantage of some $$$ from my TD card.
When I went to Westjet's website to select seats (I like to pay for exit row if available) it told me I cannot, because I booked with an OTA. Back to Expedia, and there's no tool available to select seats.

Is there any way around this, or are my wife and I stuck with whatever show up at T-24?

Have you tried calling in? The phone agents have access to things you can't do online ... I expect that may be the easiest answer.

I have a Gold seat selection voucher that expires at the end of December. I don't expect new ones for 2017 since I haven't requalified and didn't go for the status match this fall. Can this voucher be used now to confirm a seat on a flight in March?

It's bizarre because a YYC-LAS flight in January allows me to pre-select seats (also booked through Expedia). Seems AC isn't the only one with IT issues.

Shareholder - not sure about the cert...but since I haven't had status with any airline in a decade, it's not something I've been keeping up on.
